Rapid Turnaround Project

The mine’s management approached OIM in 2022 to assist in a rapid safe production turnaround. Production was consistently running 20-25% behind target and several fatalities destabilised operational performance which was characterised by poor safety practices, unstructured, fire-fighting and confrontational management style and a disenfranchised workforce.

Outcomes

Within 8 weeks the mine was achieving operational targets, production records were broken, and safety practices began to stabilise
